So I've been watching the craigslist, for motorcycles mostly. Not because I can afford to buy/insure a motorcycle, just for shits. I've noticed there are pretty much three types of ads:
1. For Sale: 30+ year old motorcycle. Runs great, I just tuned it up myself in my garage in North East Minneapolis. I am a great motorcycle mechanic, honest! I really need to sell this motorcycle this weekend. I will take any offer, as long as it is over $3,000. This is a really great motorcycle, it isn't old, it's a classic! Just like all 30+ year old Honda's this bike is appreaciating in value every day. I tuned it up myself! Please don't insult me with a reasonable offer, I will only respond to outrageous offers above $3,000.
2. Hi. I'm 18 and I have this big motocross bike. It hasn't been beaten at all, because I'm 18 and mature. Here's a picture of me taking care of it. Notice my crooked hat, I'm fasionable. i also have a pS2, xbox, mountain bike, and 1987 chevy pickup truck for trade. Looking for a really fast and late model year sport bike, even trade. laterz!!11!
3. I bought this classic British motorcycle 15 years ago and took it all the way apart immediately. now I have 3 kids and no time/space to keep this project. Everything is in this box and in great condition. it will be easy to put back together. All the parts are there, really. I'm 100% sure. $3,000 or best offor, as long as it is way more than this box of parts is actually worth.
Saw a bike that someone actually threaded the left pedal almost all the way into the right crank arm and vice versa. I didn't think that was physically possible, and I've been scratching my head all day trying to figure out how he pulled it off.
