Radio got a lot more the same this week.

Went to the live, final broadcast of the MPR morning show early this morning. It was a great show packed with really good music, the kind you rarely find on the radio anywhere. Thus ends the only "morning show" format radio I've ever heard that was bearable, and it was much more than bearable.

Additionally, the Mischke Broadcast was abruptly discontinued effective Saturday with no prior announcement. As far as I can tell Mischke was the only original thing to happen to AM radio within my lifetime. If I'm wrong, I'd appreciate someone steering me in the direction of whatever it is that I've been missing. I can only guess that KSTP had to make room for either more political commentary, or another sports talk show. Boy, you can never have enough of either of those two can you?
