big green and dumb

On Saturday, after a lot of himming and hawing I bought myself a new tool. It's big, green and dumb. I threw it together that night and the next day went for a nice 80 or so mile jaunt. Tim told me there was no better way to test the fit of a new bike than the longest ride of the year. I can't believe how right he was. The bike was quite comfortable, and I have no fit-related discomfort today. I even finished the ride feeling quite strong, and briefly debated rounding it out for my first ever century. I did, however, wake up feeling hungover and I have yet to recover fully from that. Probably just dehydrated.
